He managed to get into an EIPIC Centre a few months later and received the intervention he needed. ![]() ![]() After speaking to her husband, they took their son for an assessment which confirmed he had autism. At two and a half years old, he still couldn’t speak, and would engage in repetitive actions. She remembered he could call her ‘Mama’ when he was one year old, but stopped speaking after that. ![]() Vivi did not know much about autism until her son was diagnosed when he was in preschool.
